Rice paper making in An Ngai commune has a long tradition and history, in a hereditary method. Before 1975, the whole commune was about 5-6 households, wheres now it has 116 households focusing on making rice papers. The main ingredient, rice, is mainly taken from the Western provinces and the rice papers are produced by traditional method. Producers do not use additives, but instead they only add salt with a certain portion to produce good, tough and un-torn rice papers. Located 28 km from the hotel and about 35 minutes by car.
